Drinking 'till we all get sick and coming up with limericks but we never quite remember how they end

So when Cyborg mentioned the Sadie Hawkins dance (<3 watching Teen Titans on a Sunday long-distance with a friend), I remembered my dream last night. I was someone famous or rich or important, and I had to attend some sort of classy official function in Honolulu, and it was absolutely vital that I have an "escort" to this event, in the old fashioned sense... essentially a date. And it was vitally important that he, my escort, knew how to dance, again in the classy, old-fashioned, ballroom waltz kind of sense. This was a problem, because I didn't have a boyfriend and none of my guy friends in Hawaii knew how to dance, so an appropriate escort needed to be found for me. The high-class old ladies supervising everything got a whole bunch of eligible young men together, and there were sort of tryouts, and at the end I had to pick one. I got the sense I hadn't been famous or rich or important very long, because the prospect of a whole herd of young men whom I didn't even know vying for my approval embarrassed me. I think maybe some famous/rich/important relative had just left me a sizable inheritance? Anyway, there was one guy I particularly liked; he danced well and he was very cute. I remember he had nice arms. ...So, trying not to look as embarrassed as I felt, I walked slowly in front of the group, looking out over them as if trying to decide, but really just trying to avoid eye contact with him until the last minute. When I got to him I offered him my hand to take. I'm pretty sure I was blushing. Happily, he was thrilled to be chosen... more than just for the status. He liked me as much as I liked him. We spent the rest of the day being very snuggly.

It was a nice dream. ^_^

...Mycroft Holmes was involved at some point, I don't remember what that was all about.
